Payments
All payments are due in full on receipt of services and products. In rare, pre-approved cases, payment by mail after the service date is allowed, but this does not imply or create credit terms of any kind. All invoices are past due the day after the invoice date. A late payment finance charge of 12% APR, or $3 minimum, will be assessed each month on all unpaid balances after a 30 day grace period.
Limited Labor Warranty
All work is warranted for 30 days from date of service. The labor warranty covers only directly provided services. Problems caused by 3rd party products or compatibility issues with 3rd party products are not covered under the labor warranty. Warranty does not apply for any issues left unresolved for any reason other than work performed incorrectly. Issues not resolved through no fault of Ron Kahler Computer Service, after proper and reasonable diagnostics and troubleshooting, are not covered. Consequential loss or damage of any kind, including but not limited to loss of income or data, resulting from services provided is not covered.
Limited Computer and Product Warranty
PC systems and hardware carry a parts and labor warranty against defects for one year unless otherwise stated. Product warranty does not cover compatibility or other issues with 3rd party products. Product warranty does not cover on-site service calls unless an optional on-site warranty was purchased with the product. Consequential loss or damage of any kind, including but not limited to loss of income or data, resulting from defective products is not covered. Software is not covered.
Refunds
Refunds for services and products are not offered, unless the warranty cannot repair work that is done incorrectly or defective products. Refunds for labor will not be issued for any issues left unresolved for any reason other than work performed incorrectly. Issues not resolved through no fault of Ron Kahler Computer Service, after proper and reasonable diagnostics and troubleshooting, will not be refunded. No refunds will be issued for opened software.
Limits of Liability - Data Loss
Ron Kahler Computer Service is not responsible for any data loss for any reason. Customer is responsible for backing up any computer or hard drive to be serviced by Ron Kahler Computer Service. Any computer or hard drive serviced by Ron Kahler Computer Service for repair or warranty that is not backed up, will be at the customer's risk of loss. In addition, Ron Kahler Computer Service is not responsible for any other damages or loss resulting either directly or indirectly from loss of data stored on any computer or hard drive serviced by Ron Kahler Computer Service.
